Have had no heat for 8 months!....
bought my first house had everything inspected via FHA , everything was functioning well, when winter rolled around went to turn my heater on and it did not work ,called in to landmark to submit a claim , they sent someone out to my house I paid 60 bucks he checked the furnace, left and I never heard from them again so I called landmark and they told me they denied the claim because this was a (pre existing condition) even though they'd only been there 1 time , so let me get this straight you crash your car call in a claim they deny you because this is now a pre existing condition ?

Landmark Home Warranty don't cover things as promised
I purchased home warranty from Landmark Home Warranty, I upgraded from basic package of $300 to premier coverage of $400 because more things are listed as covered under the premier package, including the refrigerator. When my ice maker in the refrigerator stops working, I called them to submit a claim, and i was told it was not covered because I needed to buy additional refrigerator coverage. If you go Landmark website, it still shows the additional $100 would include 1 kitchen refrigerator, don't trust them, when you need repair, they will find all excuses not to help you at all!

I am the Chief Marketing Officer for Landmark. Since the homeowner didn't leave a name, I can't look up the request to appropriately respond to this specific issue.
I can say that we take our customer care very seriously, and although there are reasonable exceptions to our coverage, we believe that a sustainable and growing company cannot treat their customers poorly, or mislead them in any way. Landmark actually leads the industry in the fewest BBB complaints.
